February 29th is an important date. It is the last date to make RRSP contributions and the deadline to file T4's and T5's for corporations that have paid out salary or dividends in 2011. Don't miss the deadline.
RRSP season is here. The deadline to make a contribution to your RRSPs and have the deduction applied to your 2011 tax return is February 29, 2012. The tax season is fast approaching. Some important upcoming tax dates to note:
- February 29, 2012- deadline to file T5 and T4 slips
- February 29, 2012 - RRSP contribution deadline
- March 30, 2012 - Tax payment deadline for corporations with December 31, year ends
- April 30, 2012 - Personal tax filing deadline for most personal tax returns. Also tax payment deadline for all individual tax returns.
